A postdoctoral fellow position is anticipated to be available soon. The
successful candidate should have a PhD degree in aeronautical, or mechanical
engineering or an area closely related to composite structures; sound
knowledge and proven research experience in
(a) mechanics of composite
structures;
(b) stitched composites;
(c) modelling and testing of composites
structures; and
(d) finite element method and programming.
A PhD student stipend is also anticipated to be available in the field of composite structures. The successful candidate is expected to work on the same project as the postdoctoral fellow in through-thickness reinforced composite structures.
