The School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering at the University of Sydney is one of Australia's premier Engineering schools. It runs extremely successful undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs. The school is a major component of the Engineering and IT Faculty at the University of Sydney. Our academic staff are involved in research areas including Biomaterials & Biomechanics, Combustion, Design Optimisation, Energy Production, Field Robotics, Fluid Dynamics, Materials & Manufacturing, Navigation & Control, Rheology, Smart Structures, Thermofluids and UAV Flight Systems. Staff are highly successful in obtaining ARC research funding and external competitive grants with industry.
